About These Times

Zmanim for Jerusalem

In Jerusalem many follow the custom of lighting Shabbat candles 40 minutes before sunset, earlier than the usual 18 minutes.

The times above are for the centre of Jerusalem (31.7784, 35.2354), in the Asia/Jerusalem time zone. A shul a few kilometres away can differ by a minute or so; to see the times for exactly where you are, choose “use my exact location” in the band. How each zman is calculated.
