What the DigitalShul Display app does with your information. The app is for the people who run a shul’s DigitalShul screen: they sign in with a DigitalShul account and set up what their shul’s screen shows.

This policy covers the DigitalShul Display app for Android. The DigitalShul app for shul members is covered by its own Privacy Policy, this website by our Cookie Policy, and the display service itself by our Terms & Conditions.
The Display app lets a shul’s Screen Manager set up the shul’s DigitalShul screen: its zmanim, its panel, its logo and its layout. To do that you sign in with a DigitalShul account, and what you set up is kept on our server, because that is where the screen reads it from.
What you put on the screen is meant to be seen: it is shown on your shul’s screen, in the shul. Your account details are seen only by DigitalShul and, where this page says so, by the other Screen Managers of your shul.
We do not sell your information, show you ads, or track what you do in the app. The app has no analytics and no advertising identifiers.
The app is published by International Business Link, Corp., a Florida corporation trading as DigitalShul. Contact details are at the end of this page.
The app needs a DigitalShul account: the same account as in the DigitalShul app for members, if you have one. We keep on our server:
The app asks for your phone’s location only to find shuls near you when you choose your shul, and to place a new shul you ask us to add. Your position is sent with that search or that request; searches are not stored. You can refuse the permission and type a city instead.
“See my screen” shows your shul’s screen inside the app as it is now. To show your own shul’s content in it, our server notes your phone’s internet address and browser identifier for 15 minutes, linked to your shul, and then forgets them.
Our server runs on Amazon Web Services. The screens themselves are run by a digital-signage service we use: it receives the screen’s layout and settings, not your account. Emails about requests are sent through our email provider. These providers process information only on our behalf.
Your account. We keep it while you have it. To delete it, use Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or write to sales@digitalshul.com from the account’s email address, or message us on WhatsApp. Deleting the account removes your email, password, name, phone and your Screen Manager role from our server. What you set up for your shul’s screen stays with the shul, which still needs it; the record of changes may keep the account’s number, without your email or name. Copies may remain in our database backups for a limited period, until those backups are replaced.
Your shul’s screen content is kept while the shul uses DigitalShul, and can be changed or removed by its Screen Managers at any time.
The app is a tool for the people who run a shul’s screen. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13.
If the app begins handling information differently, this page is updated before that version is released, and the date at the top changes.
